Scotty's Home Page

I haven't made a webpage in years, and this is my first attempt at it not using notepad like I used to. I'm using MacroMedia DreamWeaver 8.02 to design this....The "Green Screen Theme" is supposed to be a reminder of the classical Monochrome/Green Screen Monitors, and its my favorite color... :-) My business page is located at .

I'm a 30 year old A+ Certified Computer Technician male from Phoenix, Arizona, USA, I am a Computer Resolution Specialist for one of the top two computer makers in the world. I have just moved from Hampton Roads , VA. I've lived there for a little over 2 years... Before that I stayed in Orange City, Daytona Beach, and Ormond Beach, FL for 6 years.. and then it was Ada / Grand Rapids, MI since birth, where I graduated at Forest Hills High School. I have been using Computers since 1984 and the Internet since 1992. Before that, it was BBS's (Bulletin Board Systems). I like riding my bike, chatting with my friends, clients, drinking beer, relaxing, amateur radio, and fixing electronics/small engines/things in my "spare" time.

I TRY to improve this page EVERY day.. please give me feedback on or any links you would like to see :) I would appreciate it :)

LINKS - GOOD Web pages You NEED to know about, if you do not already... :)

Mozilla Firefox- the best alternative Web Browser to Safari, and Internet Exploder. Linux & Macintosh versions available. Firefox Extensions/Addons and Themes available too. Opera 9.0 is a nice alternative as well.. But not nearly as good in my opinion.

My Friends- Pictures of my Online Friends (Who of them want to be shown :-) Want to be here as well, send me a chat or e-mail :)

Ubuntu Linux - with LTS (Long Term Support), and Macintosh support. A very nice Distrobution of Linux, a FREE and STABLE alternative operating system...

Windows Vista- The lastest version of Windows AKA "Longhorn"..

MacOsX86- Macintosh Operating System for x86/x64 Intel/AMD Computers. Finally :-) Macintosh Links - Now I cannot forget my Macintosh friends, can I? Mac's are a LOT better then they used to be, so I give them props and my friends who use them too, the number keeps increasing ;-) Intel Based Mac's can do Boot Camp also, OSX or Windows, or Linux :) Linux is for Mac as well :)..

WinRAR- My Favorite compression program - supports Every Format! CAB/ARJ/LZH/TAR/GZ/TAR.GZ/BZ2/TAR.BZ2/ACE/UUE/JAR/ISO/7Z/Z, 7-Zip comes a very close second.

mIRC- THE IRC (Internet Relay Chat) Program - The best :) (with XDCC Browser, a IRC XDCC file finder/requester)

Ahead Nero- THE BEST CD/DVD Burning program for most needs :-)

VideoLan VLC- THE BEST Audio/Video Player- plays just about everything, and it's Free :) Way Better then Windows Media Player

Lavasoft Ad-Aware Personal- A very GOOD FREE Spyware removal program. :) Updates frequently, nuff said...

HiJackThis- THE Startup/Service/IE/etc. "NASTY/Bad Program " Checker. Download from here, and post your "report" here. Newbie tutorial link here. It will let you know whats not right on your Windows Box :) VERY Good Program :)

Trillian Pro - a multi/IM program all built into one! (MSN, Yahoo, Google/Jabber, ICQ, AIM)

Daemon Tools- is a very good, FREE virtual CD/DVD-ROM emulator, without actually having to burn the CD/DVD. Alcohol 120% comes a close second..

Google- If you do not know about my favorite search engine, where have you been? :), close second is AltaVista Images.

Are you still on dial-up? Go here and see if broadband is available in your area like the rest of the world, or left in the dust with the rest of the lame dialup AoL'ers :-)

My Firefox Bookmarks- Sheeit I got nothing to hide, I can't include everything here without boring most people to death, so here are my Firefox Bookmarks....

MySpace - My MySpace Account - Yes, I have one Too!

Skype - My favorite Voice Chat Program...Very clear/stable voice..Now you can call Landlines and Mobile Phones in the USA and Canada for $20 a year. THIS PROGRAM ROCKS! Macintosh and Linux versions available also. My Status--> My status

Allright, Enough with the BEST software and links on the Earth...Although I have plenty more I could mention. :-)
